학생들의 알찬 방과후 시간을 위해 운영되고 있는 안전하면서도 교육적인 공간에 대한 설계이다. 다양한 연령대의 어린이와 청소년을 대상으로 교육, 운동, 문화생활 등의 프로그램을 부여한다. Dream Theater, 즉 학생들의 꿈을 보고 보여주며 상호소통하는 것을 주개념으로 하혔다. 지하수영장과 1층 체육관은 무대로써, 대형 스탠드와 2층 브릿지를 포함하는 넓은 홀은 관객의 공간이면서 동시에 휴식하며 먹고 놀며 독서도 하는 공간으로 설정하였다. 또한 다양한 프로그램을 담는 multi box는 조형적인 형태와 창, 재료를 사용하여 강한 상징성을 지닌다.

Boys&Girls Club is a secure space after students' school time. In order to put diverse people and activities in one space, I made “Grand Stand” between gym/swimming pool and lobby. So, people could watch sport games, dance performances, or some concerts like watching TV at home. People could also take a rest, take a nap, talk with friends, and eat something sitting on the stand. I think this huge void space is the safest way for children because children’s tutors or family could observe and participate in their children’s activities easily and naturally. Because the void space is from underground to second floor, the space could have an interactive relation with diverse programs. Furthermore, this huge multi box could make a strong identity with symbolic shape and material.
